How to Get to
the
Montgomery County Cultural Center


Using Mass Transit:
Take the R6 Rail Line from anywhere to The Norristown Transit Center. Our bulding is one block north from the Transit Center on Dekalb Street.
or
Take the 100 Trolley Line to The Norristown Transit Center and follow the directions listed above.

 


From Philadelphia:


Via 202:
Take 202 North across the Dannenhower Bridge to The intersection at Main Street in Norristown Bear to your Right and proceed three lights to Swede Street. Turn right onto Swede Street and continue one block to the Norristown Transit Center. Turn left at the first light on to Lafayette Street Go one block and turn left onto DeKalb Street and the Center in on your right. (208 DeKalb Street)
Parking is Available at the Transit Center.

Via 76 or 476:
Take the expressway the blue route and exit at the Norristown Exit. (Exit 18) bear right onto Chemical Road and then make a right onto Main Street/Ridge Pike and proceed for five miles to Swede Street. (Nine Traffic Lights)
Turn left onto Swede Street and continue one block to the Norristown Transit Center. Turn left at the first light on to Lafayette Street
Go one block and turn left onto Dekalb Street and the center in on your right. (208 DeKalb Street)
Parking is Available at the Transit Center.

Via the PA Turnpike:
Traveling East - Take the Turnpike to the Valley Forge Exit (Exit 24) and take 202 north.
Follow the 202 directions above or Take the NE extention to the midcounty exit # 20 and follow the direction for 476.

From Turnpike traveling west from Phildelphia. Take the midcounty exit. After the toll booth take the 476 south ramp to the first exit, which is Norristown. That exit takes you to Ridge Pike. proceed for five miles to Swede Street. (Nine Traffic Lights) Ridge Pike become Main street Norristown.
Turn left onto Swede Street and continue one block to the Norristown Transit Center. Turn left at the first light on to Lafayette Street
Go one block and trun left onto Dekalb Street and the center in on your right. (208 DeKalb Street)
